निर्देशन से तात्पर्य || Meaning of direction

निर्देशन का मतलब किसी व्यक्ति विशेष समुदाय या किसी अन्य को निर्देश देना नहीं है। निर्देश शब्द निर्देशन से पूरी तरह से भिन्न है। निर्देशन एक ऐसी क्रिया है जिसके अंतर्गत दोनों पक्ष अर्थात निर्देशन देने वाला और निर्देशन प्राप्त करने वाला दोनों ही पूरी तरह से सक्रिय की अवस्था में होते हैं। निर्देशन एक मददगार क्रिया है।इस प्रक्रिया में व्यक्ति स्वयं अपने निर्णय लेते हुए अपने लक्ष्य तक पहुंचने में पूरी तरह सफल हो सके।इस प्रक्रिया में समस्या का समाधान नहीं किया जाता अपितु व्यक्ति को स्वयं हल ढूँढने योग्य बनाया जाता है।निर्देशन का मुख्य कार्य व्यक्ति विशेष में छुपे हुए क्षमताओं व योग्यताओं का उचित रूप से ज्ञान कराना है।अतः इसी प्रक्रिया को निर्देशन की संज्ञा दी गई है।

Directing is not meant to give instructions to any individual community or any other.The word instruction is completely different from directing. Directing is an action under which both partiesi.e. both the giver and the recipient of the direction are in a state of fully active.Guidance is a helpful action.In this process the person can be completely successful in reaching his goal by taking his own decision.In this process the problem is not solved but the person is made to find the solution himself.The main function of guidance Proper knowledge has to be given to the hidden abilities and abilities in a particular person.Therefore, this process is called guidance.

निर्देशन की विशेषताएँ (Directing Characteristics)-

1.इसके अंतर्गत व्यक्ति के आधार- भूत लक्ष्यों और कौशल तथा व्यक्तित्व का पूर्ण विकास करना है।
2. यह एक संगठित प्रक्रिया है तथा विशिष्ट कर्मचारियों के साथ एक विशिष्ट पद्धति होती है।
3. इस प्रक्रिया में व्यक्ति विशेष को समायोजन हेतु अच्छी तरह से तैयार किया जाता है।
4. निर्देशन में व्यक्ति स्वयं निर्देशन के लिए प्रेरित होता है ताकि वह अपने भीतर छुपे क्षमताओं को पहचान कर स्वयं उद्देश्य या लक्ष्य प्राप्ति हेतु निर्णय ले सके।
5. यह प्रक्रिया जीवन के बाद भी निरंतर चलती रहती है।

1.Under this the basic goals and skills and personality of the person is to be fully developed.
2.It is an organized process and has a specific methodology with specific employees.
3.In this process the individual is well prepared for adjustment.
4.In directing the person is motivated to direct himself so that he can identify the hidden abilities within himself and decide for himself to achieve the objective or goal.
5.This process continues even after life.

निर्देशन की विधियां (Methods of Guidance)-

निर्देशन की प्रमुख तीन विधियां हैं-
(अ)व्यक्तिगत निर्देशन विधि-इस विधि में निर्देशक व्यक्तिगत तौर पर संपर्क स्थापित करता है एवं निर्देशकों की विभिन्न समस्याओं का पूरी तरह अध्ययन करके परामर्श देता है। इस विधि के अंतर्गत साक्षात्कार, बुद्धि का परीक्षण, उपलब्धि का परीक्षण,प्रश्नावली व आंकड़ों का अध्ययन किया जाता है।
(ब)सामूहिक व शैक्षिक निर्देशन विधि-इस विधि के अंतर्गत एक ही समय में एक से अधिक छात्रों को या समुदाय को निर्देशन दिया जाता है। इस विधि में भी साक्षात्कार, अभिलेखों का अध्ययन, मनोवैज्ञानिक परीक्षण, पारिवारिक दशाओं का वर्णन व आगामी कार्यक्रमों के संबंध में अध्ययन किया जाता है।
(स)व्यवसायिक निर्देशन की विधियां-इसके अंतर्गत विद्यालय में विद्यार्थियों को पाठ्यक्रम के अलावा व्यवसाय के बारे में जानकारी प्रदान की जाती है यही व्यवसायिक निर्देशन है। व्यवसायिक निर्देशन विधियों में सहायक पुस्तकें, निबंध, विद्यार्थियों का स्वानुभाव, व्यापारियों की वार्ता व शिक्षाप्रद कहानी व कथाएं आदि का अध्ययन किया जाता है।

There are three main methods of directing-
(a) Personal Guidance Method-In this method the director establishes personal contact and gives advice after thoroughly studying the various problems of the directors.Under this method interview, test of intelligence, test of achievement, questionnaire and study of data are done.
(b)Group and Educational Guidance Method- Under this method more than one student or community is given guidance at the same time.In this method also interview, study of records, psychological test, description of family conditions and study are done in relation to upcoming programs.
(c)Methods of Vocational Guidance-Under this, information about business is provided to the students in the school in addition to the curriculum, this is Vocational Guidance.In vocational guidance methods, helpful books, essays, self-expression of students, talks of businessmen and instructive stories and stories etc. are studied.
