ऊर्जा- किसी भी देश के आर्थिक विकास तथा लोगों के जीवन-स्तर में सुधार हेतु भोजन के बाद सबसे महत्वपूर्ण अगर कुछ है तो वह ऊर्जा ही है।किसी भी देश की खुशहाली का पता लगाने हेतु आजकल जिस पैमाने का इस्तेमाल किया जा रहा है, वह है प्रति व्यक्ति ऊर्जा की औसत खपत।इसका अर्थ यह हुआ कि किसी भी देश की प्रगति का अंदाजा उस देश में ऊर्जा के उत्पादन और खपत से लगा सकते हैं।पर्याप्त ऊर्जा के बिना किसी भी प्रकार का औद्योगिक विकास असंभव है। वर्तमान समय में विकास का मेरुदंड ऊर्जा को माना गया है।ऊर्जा के आधार पर ही विकास के समस्त कार्यक्रम तैयार किए जाते हैं।ऊर्जा को ही उद्योगों का केंद्रबिंदु माना गया है,सेना का संबल भी है।

Energy- After food, if anything is the most important thing after food for the economic development of any country and improving the standard of living of the people, it is energy.Also, the scale that is being used nowadays to measure the prosperity of the country is the average consumption of energy per capita. This means that the progress of any country can be estimated by the production and consumption of energy in that country.Any kind of industrial development is impossible without sufficient energy.At present, energy has been considered as the backbone of development.All development programs are prepared on the basis of energy. Energy itself has been considered as the centre of industries, There is also the strength of the army.

ऊर्जा का तात्पर्य होता है,शक्ति।अगर सरल शब्दों में कहा जाए तो, "कार्य करने की क्षमता व योग्यता"को ही ऊर्जा कहते हैं।आधुनिक युग में उद्योगों में व्यक्ति बल के स्थान पर जिस बल का संपूर्ण प्रयोग किया जाता है,उसी बल का नाम ऊर्जा है।यद्यपि ऊर्जा में मानव बल शामिल है,परंतु व्यवहार में इस शब्द का प्रयोग,मानव शक्ति व क्षमता के अलावा विभिन्न प्रकार की शक्तियों हेतु किया जाता है।

Energy means power.If said in simple words, "The ability and ability to do work" is called energy.In the modern era, the place of man force in industries But the force that is used in its entirety, the name of the same force is energy.Although energy includes human force, but in practice this word is used for different types of powers apart from human power and ability.

ऊर्जा के प्रमुख भेद- (Major differences in Energy)

1.मानव ऊर्जा- मानव ऊर्जा का प्रमुख स्रोत मनुष्य ही है। मनुष्य बल से जो कार्य संपन्न किए जाते हैं,जो ऊर्जा मानव के शरीर से उत्पन्न होती है,वही मानव ऊर्जा के अंतर्गत आती है।
2.प्रकृति ऊर्जा- जो ऊर्जा प्रकृति के माध्यम से प्रत्यक्ष रूप से अर्थात् सीधे-सीधे प्राप्त की जाती है,वही प्रकृति ऊर्जा के अंतर्गत आती है,जैसे-पवनचक्की।
3.निर्मित ऊर्जा- प्रकृति के माध्यम से प्राप्त वस्तुओं से मनुष्य ने अपने स्वयं के विवेक एवं विज्ञान के द्वारा जो ऊर्जा निर्मित की है, वही निर्मित ऊर्जा के अंतर्गत आती है। जैसे-बिजली,परमाणु ऊर्जा, कोयले से बनी भाप, सौर ऊर्जा का उपकरणों द्वारा संयोजन आदि ये निर्मित ऊर्जा के उदाहरण हैं।

1.Human Energy- The main source of human energy is man. The work which is done by human force, the energy which is generated from the human body, the same comes under human energy.
2.Nature Energy- The energy which is obtained directly through nature, that is, it comes under nature energy, like windmill.
3.Created Energy- The energy that man has created through his own conscience and science from the things obtained through nature, comes under the created energy.Such as electricity, nuclear power, steam made from coal, combination of solar energy by devices etc.These are examples of created energy.

आधुनिक युग को निर्मित ऊर्जा का युग माना गया है।पहले- पहल वाष्प ऊर्जा का प्रयोग किया गया। फिर पेट्रोल का ऊर्जा के नवीनतम स्रोत के रूप में उदय हुआ।फिर पानी से बिजली उत्पन्न हुई। कोयले से बिजली बनी। द्वितीय विश्वयुद्ध के बाद परमाणु शक्ति से बिजली बनी।परंतु जब ऊर्जा के ये सभी स्रोतों में भी कमी आने लगी तो सौर ऊर्जा को काम में लाने की तरकीब लगाई गई।

Modern Age is considered to be the age of created energy. Steam energy was first used.Then petrol emerged as the latest source of energy. Then electricity was generated from water. Electricity was made from coal.After World War II, nuclear power made electricity. But when all these sources of energy also started decreasing, then an idea was made to use solar energy.

ऊर्जा का महत्व- आज हम ऊर्जा के बिना जीवन की कल्पना भी नहीं कर सकते हैं।ऊर्जा मानव जीवन का अभिन्न अंग बन गई है।आधुनिक जीवन की समस्त सुख- सुविधाएंँ ऊर्जा से ही मिलती हैं।इसके साथ ही जीवन की अनिवार्य आवश्यकताओं की पूर्ति भी ऊर्जा से ही जुड़ी है।कुल मिलाकर यह कह सकते हैं कि किसी भी देश के आर्थिक विकास तथा मानव जीवन के स्तर में सुधार के लिए ऊर्जा (शक्ति) सर्वाधिक महत्वपूर्ण साधन है।

Importance of Energy-Today we cannot even imagine life without energy.Energy has become a integral part of human life.All the amenities of modern life are met by energy. Along with this, the fulfillment of the essential needs of life is also related to energy.Overall, it can be said that the economic development of any country and the standard of human life.Energy is the most important tool for improvement.
