भूगोल में 'गीजर' का तात्पर्य || Meaning of 'Geyser' in geography

गीजर- जब कभी धरती के अंदर का पिघला हुआ लावा ठंडा होता है तब इस प्रक्रिया के दौरान वह भाप और कार्बन डाइऑक्साइड छोड़ता है।एवं अंदर से इन चट्टानों के मध्य के दरारों के मार्ग ऊपर की ओर आते हैं व समय-समय पर दबाव के साथ धरती से शक्तिशाली फव्वारों की भांँति ऊपर की ओर उठते हैं।और साथ में भाप भी बाहर निकलता है। अर्थात् कभी-कभी कुछ गर्म चश्मे (भूमिगत दरार) का जल वाष्प और जल के फव्वारे के रूप में जमीन से रुक-रुक कर बाहर निकलता रहता है।इसी क्रिया को हम 'गीजर'के नाम से जानते हैं।

Geyser- Whenever the molten lava inside the earth cools, it releases steam and carbon dioxide during this process.And these rocks from inside. The passages of cracks in the middle of the earth come up and rise from the earth like mighty fountains with pressure from time to time.And steam comes out along with it. That is, sometimes the water of some hot glasses (underground cracks) keeps coming out of the ground intermittently in the form of water vapor and water fountain.We know this action by the name of 'Geyser.'

गीजर के नीचे जमीन की सतह से कम गहराई पर ही कोई गर्म चट्टान होती है तथा ऊपरी सतह तक कोई दरार या पतली नाली होती है।पानी इस नाली से होकर गर्म चट्टानों तक पहुंचता है।जब यह जल चट्टान की अत्यधिक गर्मी से लगभग 100° सेल्सियस तापमान तक पहुंच जाता है तब अधिक दाब के कारण धरातल से ऊपर उछलने लगता है।ठंडा पानी नाली में पुनः वापस आने पर पानी का निकलना तब तक बंद रहता है जब तक की गर्म होकर उसका दाब पहले के समान न हो जाए।

The bottom of the geyser is a hot rock at a depth less than the ground surface and a crack or a thin groove up to the upper surface.The water reaches the hot rocks through this groove.When this water reaches a temperature of about 100°C from the extreme heat of the rock, then due to the high pressure, it starts to rise above the surface.It lasts until its pressure becomes the same after heating.

गीजरों से निकलने वाले फव्वारों की ऊंचाई 100 मीटर या उससे भी अधिक हो सकती है।कुछ फव्वारों की ऊंचाई एक या डेढ़ मीटर ही होती है।आयलैंड,न्यूजीलैंड और अमेरिका के येलोस्टोन राष्ट्रीय पार्क में अनेक गीजर देखने को मिलते हैं।

The height of fountains emanating from geysers can be 100 meters or more.Some fountains are only one and a half meters in height. Erin, New Zealand And many geysers are found in Yellowstone National Park of America.
