पर्वतों का निर्माण || Building Mountains

अधिकांश पर्वतों का निर्माण लाखों करोड़ों-वर्षों की अवधि में पृथ्वी की सतह में भीषण परिवर्तनों के कारण हुआ है। निर्माण क्रिया के अनुसार पर्वतों को चार हिस्सों में विभाजित किया जाता है : वलन पर्वत, ब्लॉक पर्वत, अवशिष्ट पर्वत एवं ज्वालामुखी पर्वत। ये निम्नांकित हैं–
1.वलन पर्वत– ऐसे पर्वत चट्टानों की कई परतों से बने होते हैं।इन पर्वतों का निर्माण पृथ्वी के अंदर भयानक सिकुड़न और दाब के कारण होता है। दाब और सिकुड़न की क्रिया में चट्टानें लहरदार होकर एक-दूसरे के ऊपर चढ़ जाती हैं और ये परतें मुड़कर पर्वतों का रूप ले लेती हैं।हिमालय, एंडीज, रॉकी और आल्प्स पर्वतमालाओं की उत्पत्ति इसी प्रकार से हुई है।
2.ब्लॉक पर्वत– पृथ्वी की परतों में दोष आ जाने पर भयानक हलचल के कारण धरती के अंदर की चट्टाने उलटकर शिलाखंडों के रूप में एकत्र हो जाती हैं अर्थात जम जाती हैं।इससे ब्लॉक या शिला पर्वतों का निर्माण होता है।फ्रांस के वशिगेज पर्वत और जर्मनी के ब्लैक फॉरेस्ट पर्वत का निर्माण इसी प्रकार हुआ है।
3.अपशिष्ट पर्वत– आंँधी, पानी, बर्फ आदि के अपरदन क्रिया के द्वारा कुछ ऊंँचे पहाड़ों पर धूल, बालू और दूसरे पदार्थों के जमने से अपशिष्ट पर्वतों का निर्माण होता है।दक्षिण न्यूयॉर्क राज्य में स्थित कैट्सकिल पर्वत माला पठारों से ही जन्मी है।ग्रेट कैनियन कोलोराडो नदी का अपरदन द्वारा बना है।
4.ज्वालामुखी पर्वत– पृथ्वी के गर्भ से निकलने वाले मैग्मा के जमने से ज्वालामुखी पर्वतों का निर्माण होता है।जापान का फूजियामा पर्वत का निर्माण ऐसा ही बताया जाता है।

Most mountains were formed due to Great changes in the Earth's surface over a period of hundreds of millions of years.According to the formation process, the mountains are divided into four parts: Valan Mountains, Block Mountains, Residual Mountains and Volcanic Mountains.These are the following –
1.Fold Mountains– Such mountains are made up of many layers of rocks.These mountains are formed due to the tremendous shrinkage and pressure inside the earth.In the action of pressure and shrinkage, rocks become wavy and climb on top of each other and these layers bend to form mountains.Himalayas, Andes, Rockies and Alps ranges have originated from this.
2.Block Mountains– When faults occur in the layers of the earth, due to the terrible movement, the rocks inside the earth reverse and collect in the form of boulders, that is, the formation of block or rock mountains.This is how it happens. Vashigues Mountains of France and Black Forest Mountains of Germany are formed in this way.
3.Waste Mountains– The accumulation of dust, sand and other materials on some high mountains by the erosion action of storm, water, snow etc. Waste Mountains are formed.Catskill Mountains located in South New York State The rosary originated from the plateaus.Great Canyon was formed by the erosion of the Colorado River.
4.Volcano Mountains– Volcanic mountains are formed by the solidification of magma emanating from the Earth's womb.The formation of Fujiyama Mountains of Japan is said to be similar.font>
