1 athanni = 50 paise
8 Athanni = 50×8 = 400 paise
100 paise = 1 rupee
400 paise = 400÷100 = 4

Long Answer Type Questions
(Question No. 21 to 24)

Question 21 - The measurement of Renuka's room is as follows -
Length = 6 m
Breadth = 5 m
How many square tiles of side 10 cm are to be laid in his room?
Solution - Measurement of the room =
Length = 6 m
Breadth = 5 m
Area = length × breadth
6×5 = 30 sqm
On converting meter to centimetre
1 meter = 100 centimeters
30 meters = 30×100 = 3000 square centimetres
Area of ​​the tile = 10×10 = 100 sq cm
Total number of tiles = 3000÷100 = 30
Answer = 30 tiles.

Question 22 - Find the sum of the days of the months having 31 days in the year.

January = 31 days
March = 31 days

= 40+24 = 64 feet
Answer = 64 feet
