Make a list of animals and birds found in Kanha Kisli and draw/paste pictures of any two animals and birds and write 5-5 sentences about them. List of animals/birds in Kanha Kisli National Park.

1. Barasingha– The Indian Barasingha or swamp deer is an endangered species of deer, and can be seen in protected sancturies in India. They derive their name from the large antlers of the adult male Barasingha, which may grow to have more than 12 points, hence translation of its name in Hindi, 12-antlered deer.
2. Sloth Bear– It has also been called labialed bear because of its long lower lip and palate used for sucking up insects. It has a long, shaggy for a mane around the face and long, sickle-shaped claws. It is lankier than brown and Asian black bears. It shares features of insectivarous mammals and envolved during the pleistocene from the ancestral brown bear through olivergent evolution.

Look at the pictures carefully given in lesson 3. Have you remembered any story in your language. Discuss this matter with elder members of house and write to sentences about this.
(1) There is a story of woodcutter who accidently dropped his axe into a river, because this was his only means of livelihood, sat down and wept.
(2) He was very honest man.
(3) Everyday he set out into the nearby forest to cut trees.
(4) He earned just enough to make a living, but he was satisfied with his simple living.
(5) He brought the wood back into the village and sold them out to a merchant and earn his money.
(6) One day he was very sad and prayed to the goddess.
(7) He prayed sincerely and god accepted his request.
(8) God became very happy to fulfill his desire.
(9) We should always do hard work in our life.
(10) We should not be greedy and always show honesty in our behaviour.

Get information on the causes of flood by discussing with the elder members of your house and on the basis of this information draw a picture and write 5 sentences.
Due to heavy rain, water levels in rivers and lakes are expected to rise. As the rain water rises over the banks of rivers, it overflows and causes floods. With the increasing global warming, it is also possible that there might be flood due to the massive melting of snow. If global warming increases, with the rise of temperature, the ice might melt faster leading to floods in various parts of the country, floods can leave adverse effects around the world and at times, the revival of the damages may take years.

What things the shopkeepers sell in the market near your house. Discuss with the elders of house and get information than draw a picture and make 5 sentences.
A market place is a very busy place where people go to buy articles of their needs. It is a centre of attraction for both buyers and sellers. There is no other place in the area having so much brisk business as the marked. I always found a big crowd there. There are several shops, all decorated beautifully. Big shops look more attractive. Businessmen come here for and wide for purchasing or selling their products. The market is always crowded with carts, horses, donkeys and camels. Whenever I visit a market I find the hawkers shouting loudly to sell their goods. They try to attract the people by several names. They face hard competition because there are several hawkers selling the same articles.
